A Fond Farewell

After proudly serving the community for over 60 years, the Regina Plains Museum, operating as the Regina EcoMuseum, is permanently closing.

Since 1960, we have been dedicated to preserving and sharing the stories, culture, and heritage of Regina and the surrounding plains. We are incredibly grateful for the support, curiosity, and passion shown by our visitors, volunteers, and partners over the decades. The website and articles will be available until December 2025.

Thank you for being part of our journey.

What Connects Us

The Regina EcoMuseum serves as a vibrant tapestry of our community's diverse narratives, bridging the past and present through its thoughtfully curated stories. By showcasing contemporary stories from local residents alongside historical artifacts and accounts, the museum provides a comprehensive view of our city's rich cultural heritage. This dynamic interplay between modern experiences and historical roots not only celebrates our collective identity but also fosters a deeper understanding and appreciation of the myriad voices and experiences that have shaped our community.

Regina’s Museum Without Walls

An Ecomuseum is an innovative concept with no permanent physical location. We are rooted in community engagement, breaking down existing barriers, and aim to provide a sense of belonging to all.
