Adams Street
Adams Street is named for Mavis Adams, a graduate of the Regina Normal School who taught school in several communities before becoming an insurance agent in Regina. Adams served on the Canada Games committee, the Cable Regina committee, was president of the Regina Council of Women, served as liaison officer between the Saskatchewan government and all Saskatchewan Indian Chiefs, and was a sponsor of the Silver Fox hockey Team.
