Canadian Liquid Air Ghost Sign

Liquid Air was a topic I definitely had to consult with Google on. Peter Dearman originally developed the technology to power vehicles. The process is turning gases, like nitrogen, oxygen, hydrogen and methane, into a liquid by changing its environment, like temperature and compression. Liquid air is used in welding and cutting, breweries, and for medicinal use, and more recently as a form of energy. It is a unique ghost sign with it wrapping around the whole top of the building and being fairly clear to read with its original vibrant colour. This abandoned building is on the west corner of Winnipeg Street and 4th Avenue. This building holds history outside of the ghost sign, as it was the place where the first Regina police officer was killed on the line of duty. Constable George Anthony Lenhard was murdered on this site in 1933, at the young age of 28.
