Haunted Places: Regina Campus

The University of Regina Campus on College Avenue is an infamous supernatural hotspot in Regina. In 1920, there was a typhoid fever outbreak on the campus which closed the campus down entirely, and quarantined staff and students. To treat the 78 people who fell ill, the girls residence was closed and converted to an infirmary. Eight students and one teacher died. Ghosts of nurses, doctors and patients from the deadly outbreak can be seen wandering the grounds of the campus.

Another ghost spotted on the campus is that of a pilot, who supposedly fell to his death from a tower during a party at the campus during the time the space was used as an air training centre during World War II. His figure is often spotted in a uniform while walking the halls and around the building where he died.
