Lawrie Bay
Lawrie Bay is named after Annie Lawrie. She was the superintendent of nurses at Regina General Hospital from 1933 to 1944, and was lauded all over the continent for the excellence of the Regina General School of Nursing. Lawrie was a graduate of Royal Alexandra Hospital, Edmonton, and she attended post-graduate studies at Columbia University. Lawrie won special acclaim for training graduates in military nursing.
