Haunted Places: Darke Hall

Opened in 1929 thanks to a donation from benefactor Francis Darke, Darke Hall is a popular venue for both performances and ghosts. In 1940, Darke’s funeral was held at the hall, and many believe his spirit still wanders Darke Hall. In the 610-seat auditorium, many people have seen the ghost of a man dressed in early 20th century clothing walking through the halls, as well as attend concerts and performances, some even say he will sit in his former seat, but once the concert is over he will disappear.
