Little Pine Loop

There has always been a lack of Indigenous named streets in Regina, many only of Eurocentric origins. Back in 2006 is when the lack of Indigenous named streets in Regina became highlighted and at that time 20 new names had been added to the list used for naming streets and subdivisions, which were from indigenous history. One of these names that were used is Little Pine Loop. Little Pine was a Cree chief which on the behalf of his band and other Cree Indians signed for Treaty 6 in 1879.
